Dan Cooke
Campus Minister
Email: dcooke@singingoaks.org
Dan came to Singing Oaks in July 2007 as a minister to college students at University of North Texas, Texas Women’s University, and North Central Texas College. His gifts are teaching, preaching, and reaching out to those who do not know Christ as Lord. Dan is passionate about taking the good news of Jesus to those who do not know Him, working with college students, and demonstrating the cross’s power to heal through conflict mediation. He believes that since the majority of social change in this country over the last half century has begun on college campuses, reaching college students for Christ can have a profound impact on American society for the kingdom.
Dan has received degrees from David Lipscomb University in Bible (B.A.), Biblical Studies (M.A.), and is currently one final exam shy of finishing a degree at Abilene Christian University (M.Div.).
Dan is currently single which gives him more time to kill plants and maintain large aquariums at his apartment. He also really enjoys a good cookie.
